Terms and Conditions for Online Events
comvaHRo Web- and On-Site Seminars
Status: 01.12.2021
On-Site Seminars:
Registration is binding for the respective individual or company. After registration, you will promptly receive an acknowledgement of receipt via email, as well as an order confirmation.
The participation fee includes training materials (in paper or digital form), breakfast pretzels, refreshments/coffee, and a certificate of attendance. For seminars lasting up to four hours, lunch is not included.
Accommodation / Room Reservation:
If you require overnight accommodation, we recommend booking a room promptly at one of our partner hotels.
We have reserved a limited number of rooms at special rates at selected hotels, which you can access using the keyword “comvaHRo-Schulung”. Accommodation costs, including any additional catering expenses, are not included in the participation fee.
Cancellation by the Registered Individual / Company:
Please note that, in the event of short-notice cancellations, incurred costs for training and practice materials, venue hire, and pre-ordered catering cannot be refunded.
If the registered participant is unable to attend, you may nominate a substitute participant at any time at no additional cost.
For cancellations received fewer than 8 calendar days before the event start date, 80% of the participation fee is payable. In the event of non-attendance or cancellation on the day of the event, the full participation fee is due.
The above fees apply per registered person. Rebookings are treated as cancellations.
Online/Web-Seminars:
Following registration for an online seminar via our website (or alternatively by email), you will receive the official registration confirmation and the order confirmation via email. In good time before the event, we will send you the access link along with technical instructions for using our webinar platform (e.g. Edudip). After the seminar, you will receive documentation and a certificate of attendance in electronic form. The invoice will also be sent to you via email after the event.
The participation fee for online seminars includes training materials and a certificate of attendance, both provided exclusively in digital form. These will be made available for download after the seminar and/or sent by email.
Any video or image recording of the online seminar, as well as the distribution of materials or recorded videos, is strictly prohibited.
Cancellation by the Registered Individual / Company:
For cancellations received fewer than 8 calendar days before the event start date, 80% of the participation fee is payable. In the event of non-attendance or cancellation on the day of the event, the full participation fee is due.
Rebooking to alternative dates is not possible and will be treated as a cancellation. If the registered participant is unable to attend, you may nominate a substitute participant, including their email address, at no additional cost, no later than 3 working days before the seminar begins.
Cancellation by the Organiser Due to Low Attendance:
If the seminar must be cancelled for valid reasons – for example, due to illness of the speaker or an insufficient number of participants – any participation fees already paid will be refunded. No further claims – particularly regarding already booked accommodation, train tickets, or flights – will be accepted.
Deadline and Format for Cancellations:
To meet the deadline, cancellations must be submitted in writing, either by post or email.
Invoices and Prices:
A contract is concluded between the registered individual/company and comvaHRo GmbH upon sending of the registration or order confirmation in electronic form. All stated prices and fees (including cancellation fees) are net amounts. Statutory VAT will be added where applicable.
Liability:
Unless related to essential contractual obligations, comvaHRo GmbH and its agents shall only be liable for damages that can be proven to result from intentional or grossly negligent breaches of duty within the contractual relationship, and only insofar as such damages are typical and foreseeable.
In the event that a seminar is delayed or cancelled due to force majeure, comvaHRo GmbH accepts no liability.
Right to Make Changes:
comvaHRo GmbH reserves the right to replace or cancel individual sessions of an event, provided that this does not affect the overall character of the event.
Furthermore, comvaHRo GmbH reserves the right to replace advertised speakers with others and to make necessary changes to the event programme while maintaining its overall character.
The stated end times for seminars are estimates. The actual end time may differ from the scheduled time depending on how the seminar proceeds.

All event materials are protected by copyright. Usage rights are granted only by express written permission.
Participants are not permitted to copy licensed materials provided for training and informational purposes. Licensed materials include data processing software and/or licensed data sets (databases) in machine-readable form, including the associated documentation.
